Studio Art
List earned a B.F.A. Painting & Printmaking with Sculpture Minor from Tyler School of Art, with studies at the Tyler School in Rome, an M.A. and M.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Between 1976 – 1998 he exhibited original paintings and drawings derived from his pre-computer digital Xerox art, blueprinting, and photo-mechanical techniques in over 60 solo and group exhibitions in New York and nationally. Examples of his graphic works are in the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Modern Art and other major collections.
